Nibbles Training Café sits quietly just off Stocks Lane in Poulton-le-Fylde, nestled within the peaceful grounds of the local cemetery. This isn’t your typical bustling café – it offers a calm refuge for those wanting a moment of quiet before or after a service, or simply a low-key spot to relax over a cup of coffee.

The atmosphere here leans towards gentle and unhurried. Expect a warm, welcoming vibe delivered by a staff who are not only friendly but genuinely attentive. Part of what makes Nibbles stand out is its role as a training café supporting adults with learning difficulties, providing them valuable work experience. This community-focused mission shapes the pace and personal touches you’re likely to notice during your visit, such as staff going the extra mile to make customers feel cared for.

The food offerings lean towards comforting breakfast and lunch options, served quickly but with enough care to satisfy local regulars and visitors alike. The coffee earns consistent praise, pairing well with simple snacks or a toasted fruit teacake for a modest treat. Prices strike a balance that encourages repeat visits without fuss.

Nibbles attracts a diverse mix of people: locals stopping by on their weekly rounds, families visiting the nearby crematorium, and anyone seeking a quieter alternative to the usual café chains in Blackpool. It’s a place where the small details matter – from thoughtful service to the quiet surroundings that encourage reflection or casual conversation.

For those looking to support local causes while enjoying a no-frills café experience, Nibbles fits neatly into the local scene. Mornings and early afternoons seem to be the sweet spot when the café is lively enough for easy conversation yet retains its relaxed pace. If you find yourself in Poulton-le-Fylde, especially near the cemetery, it’s worth a stop to appreciate a coffee stop where kindness and community connection come through as clearly as the brew.

Great place to go before or after a service. The cafe is in the cemetery grounds. The staff are so friendly and really make a horrible day better. The lady even offered to clean my number plate so I wouldn't get pulled over. A good menu for breakfast and lunch and delicious coffee. Not to mention the cafe supports adults with learning conditions, giving them work experience. What a great place! Thank you for having us, keep up the great work!!

Busy little eatery just near the crematorium. Great coffee. A fantastic initiative to help people with SEND that shouldn't be remarkable for that. Should be similar schemes everywhere. Costa coffee and the other chains take note. PS: Toasted (Fruit) teacake was awesome as well.

Pleasant little cafe close to the entrance gates. Ideal for those visiting loved one's graves, a funeral service or just for a rest break. Could see Blackpool Tower in the distance. Pot of tea was excellent, good strength and very inexpensive at just £1.50. If this review was helpful please give it a like below.
